Our Formation & Story
What began as a small gathering of faithful folks has grown into a wonderful community of worshipers.
The Beginning
Because Walnut Springs UMC began as a small prayer group discerning how to remain faithful to the Methodist tradition, discipleship has remained highly relational. Members intentionally invite neighbors and friends into the life of the church.
Founding Growth
The effectiveness of this disciple-making environment is evident in growing participation, expanding volunteer leadership, and the congregation’s steady growth since its founding in 2023.
Community Worship
Now, spiritual growth among believers is nurtured through worship, study, fellowship, and service. Outside of worship seasonal bible studies and discussion groups provide opportunities for deeper engagement with Scripture and theology.
